Coach Maddison

Coach Maddison is 25 years old and is so excited to be starting her fourth year coaching and her first year as Varsity Head Coach, while also still getting to help with the Junior High team. Maddison previously was Head Coach of the Junior Devilettes for the past 3 years and led them to a hip hop State Championship her first year coaching, a 3rd place hip hop finish her second year, and a 2nd place pom finish her third year. Her passion for dance started at a very young age, as she enjoyed participating in every Youth Dance Clinic that the dance team offered. She attended Villa Grove Schools her whole life. Maddison danced for the Villa Grove Devilettes as a Freshman and Sophomore in high school at Villa Grove. The Devilettes received 2nd place at 2013 IDTA State her Freshman year and were honored to be 2014 State Champions her sophomore year. She cannot wait for another amazing season, has big plans for the team, and is so excited to dive in and make some awesome memories.  Maddison graduated from VGHS in 2016 and then began attending Parkland College where she obtained her degree in Surgical Technology. Maddison married her husband, Ben, in November of 2020 and they now reside in Villa Grove with their pups, Miley and Dale.  Maddison works as a client accounts specialist at Keri Powell Therapy.

Coach Sarah is 26 years young- this is her ninth year coaching, and her fifth year coaching the Devilettes.  She previously coached the Junior Devilettes- earning them 3 consecutive state titles and is now an assistant Coach for the Junior Devilettes! Sarah danced on the Devilettes for 2 years and earned two state championships with her team totaling her state championship titles to 5.  During her senior year, the Devilettes took home 3rd place at IHSA State. She attended Parkland College and graduated in 2018 with her A.A.S. in Culinary Arts Management. She is currently a FT nanny & a virtual Health & Wellness Coach. In her free time she loves cooking/baking, pouring into her faith, traveling, spending time with her hubs and puppy Bleus.  Sarah has a huge passion for helping young girls pursue their dreams/goals while creating a safe space for them and always looks forward to all the new experiences each season brings, growing in her coaching career by learning from the girls/other coaches, getting to watch the girls grow in/ outside of dance, and continuing to empower young girls through Dance.
